PARTE 2 – 3- 4- 5

I had confused surviving with having no choice.

Now I knew I had one.

Hubo silencio.

Then she said quietly, “I understand.”

He had stopped arriving with three SUVs.

Usually, there was only one vehicle now.

Anthony still accompanied him, but he waited outside and gave us privacy.

Dominic found me at the kitchen table, surrounded by employment offers.

Levantó una ceja.

“Mujer popular”.

Me reí.

“Aparentemente”.

“Any interesting opportunities?”

“Tres”.

“¿Has elegido uno?”
